Kid in the Attic is the latest musical project from Colombian-American songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Maia Macdonald. 

When not on the road with Mirah, songwriting with Mitten, collaborating with Tom Tom Magazine and Homoground, or interviewing OTHER ARTISTS,  Maia writes songs that that explore what Impose Magazine calls "the evolutions and shifts between people and progressions that take place in life."  

Based in Brooklyn, NY, KITA has toured nationally with Mirah, Allison Weiss, Mal Blum, and Winter, and has shared the stage with Diane Cluck, Jeffrey Lewis, and many more. 

KITA's debut EP "Que Lastima" is out now via Rhyme & Reason Records. New LP SOON.
